What we collect
Newsletter subscriptions. When you subscribe to the newsletter, we collect your email address and any opt-in preferences you provide.
Contact form submissions. When you write to the editor via the contact form, we collect your name, email address, the subject category you select, and the message you submit.
Basic analytics. Our hosting provider records standard request metadata (IP address, user-agent string, referring page, time of request) for the purpose of understanding readership patterns and detecting abuse. These records are retained briefly and not associated with any individual reader's identity.
What we do with it
We use your email address to send the newsletter you subscribed to. We use contact-form submissions to respond to your message, and may use the information in editorial work as described in our Terms of Service. We use analytics to understand which articles are read, where readers come from, and to maintain site reliability.
What we do not do
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. We do not use your data for advertising, targeted or otherwise. We do not track readers across other sites or use cross-site identifiers. We do not build behavioral profiles of individual readers.
Your rights
You may request access to or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Send the request via the contact form, and we will respond within a reasonable period.
