Almost every branded psychiatric drug in America now sits inside a pricing deal nobody voted on
The White House added nine more drugmakers to its most-favored-nation pricing program, bringing the total to 26 companies covering an estimated 89 percent of the branded drug market. None of the new nine build their business around psychiatric drugs. That's beside the point: the company that makes esketamine signed on months ago, and the whole arrangement is voluntary, unenforced by law, and largely undisclosed to Congress.
